One year diploma in audio engineering combines the theoretical, technical and practical skills of recording audio and mixing audio, a fundamental working knowledge of recording studio equipment and operations. The course aims to teach students basic sound theory, microphone techniques, recording workflow, signal processing and signal flow, console operation, software editing, DAW operations and the use of the industry-standard software and the valuable industry practice of applying soldering skills for audio cables and connectors.

Audio post production deals with creation and manipulation of audio that is synchronized with the film. Production Audio, which is the audio recorded on location, Most other aspects of audio for the film occur during the Post Production phase. This also includes Sound Designing or the creating sound effects, that occur during Pre Production, Production, or Post Production for TV, cinema, and commercials. Other elements such as Foley, music, and voiceover, are also added during post production.
