Unwind session @ soundtech

It was these 3 days which made me discover and realize some of the most important aspects of business and life. The camp unfolded in a completely unexpected manner and was full of life, information and ideas.
There were many events like composing a song with your team mates, marketing a product , designing a studio etc , which had to be done within half an hour's time.
The urge for our team to be on top brought about unbelievable ideas and output which made us realize that it's possible to do anything if we work as a team.
Mr.Rajiv of Amadeus Global studios made marketing so interesting that these three days taught me more than what I learnt during my college. Above all Soundtech made this happen and I thank every one in Soundtech who worked for the same.
I am eagerly looking forward for more surprise packages arranged by Lewis and Manoj sir.
Thoroughly enjoyed the camp.

Pursuit of Acoustics

It was a clear Wednesday morning as the sound tech media team ( staff & students ) set out for their first round of studio visits . It was very well planned and the three studios that we visited were diverse in their own way and had their own unique features.
We were learning acoustics and were vigorously doing ground work for “Dream Studio” project presentation. In this project, we were to present complete description of the dream studio that we all once aspire to come up with. The project included complete detailing , right from floor plan ,acoustic design, equipments used, budgeting and every other detail.
The visits proved to be quite timely and extremely useful since it threw light on various important aspects of studio design, common problems faced by sound engineers at studios and studio maintenance.
On the whole, the visits were very educative and also fun . It helped us to come up with our own studio design, where we incorporated elements from all the studios that we saw. We all hope to come up with our own studio some day .1 By Harish

We had an opportunity to visit MGR film Institute which was interesting as we experienced shooting of a movie and more over we had a wonderful opportunity to be a part of seminar organized by Genelec, which was quite valuable in terms of gaining knowledge and exposure. We would look forward for such interactive visits in the near future which would add value to this course.
