I enrolled in Soundtech Media (2008), What I like about the program is the opportunity to expand my knowledge and become familiar, and eventually comfortable, on professional recording equipment in a real-world professional working environment. Upon graduation, I was hired by Renowned Singer /Composer MR. Karthik. Soundtech Media’s quality program taught me everything I needed to know from the most basic studio setups to some of the most advanced technology.

I am from a very remote village Vathalagundu , my ambition was to become a sound engineer and i had no single clue where to go and whom to approach until one of my friend suggested soundtech Media- chennai .

I was hesitant to come to chennai initially considering my limitations but Soundtech Media beyond the student-college relationship establish a friendly community in which the student's needs are supplied. After completion of my diploma the college itself provided me placement as a assistant audio engineer in a studio called Enkay visions, now I am proud to say that I got promoted as senior engineer in the same studio.

The benefit of Soundtech Media’s audio engineering program is the systematic exploration of topics that could lead to several careers as a sound engineer. With the encouragement of my amazing teachers and advisors, I began evaluating my passion and interests towards live sound. The college helped me in getting placed as an assistant live sound engineer at Venkata Suba Roa Hall, The glad news is that I need to assist Mr. Ramesh (Chief Engineer) my senior from Soundtech Media. Two years of experience has now promotted me as a chief engineer and now I train my juniors on live sound

The interdisciplinary nature of Soundtech Media has offered a wonderful array of technical Knowledge, After my Graduation I was able to recognize my true passion and strengths. Now I am able to think strategically and solve problems which helps me in my daytoday life as a Senior Audio Engineer at Suriyan Fm – Coimbatore. Apart from technical expertise my collage taught me time management skills which I encompass in my daily routine.

I am fortunate to be a student of Soundtech Media. Now I am successfully working as an Audio engineer for Tamil movie industry and associated with music director Vijay Antony. Here are my words of wisdom for students who want to become a sound engineer. Experiencing your passion will be the most amazing experiences of your life. Be sure to get the best of both worlds and find the healthy balance between gaining knowledge and implementing the knowledge you gain.

I always planned to be a sound engineer and joined Soundtech Media. Soundtech Media helped me to show case my talents as a sound engineer. Without my teachers I would have never been able to reach this position. With my knowledge from Soundtech Media started my career in a small studio in Chennai and later after gaining more experience in the field I took over as a Chief live sound engineer at Venkata Subbah Rao concert hall.

Now i am happy and proud to work as a sound engineer with Mr.Leslie Lewis (Bombay )

After my graduation from Soundtech Media I was placed in a studio in Chennai called the Dot wave. Which was also designed by my governess Mr. Manoj kumar. The most important thing to understand a concept is to have a strong understanding of the basics and everything builds on top of that. This is the gift that an institution has to offer to its students and Soundtech Media had recognized this and is actively offering the same to its students.
Before joining the program, I was a software engineer wanting to be an audio engineer, but Soundtech Media helped me to secure a job in the professional division of Harman International to play both the roles simultaneously.

This is Josin Sam John. I came to know about Soundtech Media through my sister. What i like about Soundtech Media is its serene atmosphere, very supportive and encouraging faculty and friendly, co-operating students. The one year in Soundtech Media was completed in flash & it was a wonderful experiences for me as I learned numerous things technically as well as morally. I wouldn’t be like what i am if i did sound engineer somewhere else for sure.
